Join Riverside Industrial Sands, a family owned, long standing and respected sand supply business, which prides itself on quality outcomes for our customers. We’re looking for an experienced and confident Yard Operator to join our team at Riverside Industrial Sands, QLD. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard in production, and delivery of various sand products.
The role will be offered on a contract basis with potential for permanent employment.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Work with yard staff to meet daily operational requirements
- Ensure product meets customer specifications and quality controls are conducted and recorded
- Ensure orderly yard operations including effective utilisation of plant and equipment.
- Participate in the planned maintenance system (MEX) for yard machinery and equipment and sand drying plant.
- Loading of trucks with front end loader or forklift
- Knowledge of conveyor systems operation and maintenance also desirable

We are looking for people with:
- Previous experience in the sand or aggregate production and or supply would be advantageous.
- A demonstrated safety culture
- Possess a valid Drivers Licence, proven competency in Front end Loader, and forklift. Skid steer loader also desirable
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority
